[yt-users] integrate a field along a direction

Dear yt users,

I have a simulation from which I selected a region using:
sph = data.sphere(center, (radius,"pc"))

Now I want to integrate the density and velocity along the z axis and do some
analysis on the projected field.

like: I have some points in the projection I am interested in and I want to know the
radial surface density profile or the divergence of the projected velocity.
