We should have cookbook recipes for:

1. Calculating streamlines and querying data along them
2. Identifying isosurfaces and querying data on them
3. Plotting isosurfaces in MPL
4. Plotting streamlines in MPL
5. Plotting both simultaneously in MPL.  (Possibly; MPL may not be able to do this due to needing an alpha channel.)

This is assigned to @samskillman but I am going to tackle 2 and 3, and possibly 5.
