[yt-users] Halo Merger Trees

Dear YT group,

I need to create halo merger trees from enzo outputs, but found that this
functionality was removed starting at yt 3.0

I tried using yt version 2.6.1 (not my ideal solution), but using a simple
script <http://pastebin.com/EZRfb5kG>, I still got an I/O error
<http://pastebin.com/kYmLGepN> in writing a database for halos.

I expect this functionality will be added soon as it is very needed, but in
the mean time, how can I produce halo merger trees from enzo output with yt
3.3.1?
