[yt-users] FRB of OffAxisProjectionPlot data?

Dear all, 

can I create a fixed resolution buffer from an OffAxisProjectionPlot?
Or is there another way to extract the data in form of a numpy array?

I only managed to do this for projections along coordinate axes.
