[yt-users] Installing yt-dev on OS X 10.8.3

For me, the installation chokes when it has to compile some of yt's
cython-generated C code, which requires openmp support. Unfortunately
clang (apple's current default compiler) doesn't support openmp and chokes
on that bit. Setting the compiler to gcc (which is actually llvm with a
gcc-like frontend if you're using xcode's gcc) allows successful
compilation of yt's C extenstions.
