[yt-users] Slice plot error

Hi Suoqing,

The reason I wanted to see the minimum and maximum z values in your data
is because I had previously worked on a problem with 2D FLASH data
brought up on the yt-dev list. In that case, it turned out that yt had
miscalculated the z positions of the grids, putting them outside the domain.

It may be a good idea to check your data to see if any lies outside the
domain:

0. 0.]
yt : [INFO ] 2012-09-17 03:22:02,645 Parameters: domain_right_edge = [
256. 12.8 12.8]

If you do find inconsistencies then there may be an issue with the FLASH
frontend. Since you only have one cell along the z axis, the z position
of all of the data should be 6.4.

Matt's right that that first error you saw is pretty obscure, I'll try
to fix that soon.

Cheers,
Nathan
