Dear Colleagues,

On Friday, October 19th at Columbia University there will be a one-day
yt bootcamp, designed to get you up and running with applying yt (
http://yt-project.org/ ) to analyze and visualize simulation data from
fluid-based astrophysical simulation data.

Starting with a basic facility with Python, attendees should expect to:

 * Learn how to use yt for basic visualization
 * Use yt for detailed quantitative analysis
 * Create and use derived fields and bulk fluid quantities
 * Run yt in parallel

There is no registration fee, and a pizza lunch will be provided.
Everyone in the wider New York City area is welcome, from new to
advanced! For purposes of this bootcamp, the specific types of data
that will be focused on will be FLASH, Enzo and Athena.

Attendees should register at http://goo.gl/fPFBr by October 12.
Further day-of specifics will be sent via direct email.

Please forward this to any interested parties!
