Hi Eric,

The HopCircleCallback doesn't account for the fact that you're doing a simulation with periodic boundary conditions.  It looks like the halo you're centering on is near a corner of the simulation box, causing only the halos in one quadrant to be plotted.

If you're focusing on the most massive halo in the box, it's probably a good idea to recenter the simulation on that halo.  If you're unsure how to do that, it's described in the enzo docs as well as in lecture slides from the 2010 enzo workshop and the HIPACC summer school.  You can also e-mail enzo-users.

Reentering the simulation on the most massive halo has the additional bonus that callback plots like the one you've attached will look correct.
