There are three different unit conventions one could possibly use in the unsplit staggered mesh solver.  These are detailed in the FLASH user's guide as well as this e-mail from Dongwook Lee in 2011: http://flash.uchicago.edu/pipermail/flash-users/2011-August/000964.html

The FLASH frontend should parse the value of the unitsystem runtime parameter and adjust the value of the magnetic field to be in CGS units as necessary.
