Before 2.5 can go out, we need to update:

 * Cython 0.17.1
 * HDF5 1.8.9 (or 1.8.10)
 * h5py 2.1
 * mercurial 2.4
 * matplotlib 1.2
 * ipython 0.13.1 or 0.14
 * Add nose
