New issue 327: Out of order volume rendering with no homogenization
https://bitbucket.org/yt_analysis/yt/issue/327/out-of-order-volume-rendering-with-no

Matthew Turk / MatthewTurk on Sun, 13 Nov 2011 20:25:26 +0100:

Description:
The vast majority of volume renderings conducted with yt have no alpha channel. For such operations, we do not need to homogenize or to order in order. These operations should only require vertex centered data and a final composition step.

This bug requires:

 * Refactoring the volume rendering to work with *non*-PartitionedGrids
 * Changing load balancing to be grid-level with only a single final composition step
