Chris Malone:

Most visualization software provides the capability to make isocontour plots, even in 3d.  We have a round-about way of doing this in a [cookbook recipe](http://yt-project.org/docs/3.0/cookbook/complex_plots.html#plotting-isocontours), but this should be much simpler for the user.
