Hi all,

I think I've found a hacky way to get around the pmods import problem
we've been seeing. Since it's so hacky, I'm not going to issue a PR
until somone else lays eyes on it and tries it and lets me know if
it's A) too hacky, B) just hacky enough, or C) what?
