[yt-dev] Packaging.

Hi Matt,

I maintain yt 2.5 and yt 3.0 alpha builds on our cluster here at UChicago, and building
from source is not difficult, once the short number of dependencies are satisfied.  What
is more difficult, however, is to keep up with the versions of those dependencies.  Our
builds currently use Matplotlib 1.2, and only recently upgraded to Cython 0.19.  There is
some risk to producing a broken build if the build system does not test for required (vs
recommended) versions.

A package system would be nice, provided it can be entirely self contained (so as to
not conflict with other packages or package versions installed on the system).
