[yt-dev] Memory leak issue with ParallelHOP code

Hey guys,

I just issued a pull request to include more robust calculation of memory
usage for when the /proc directory doesn't exist.  This is why it doesn't
work on macs.  If someone wants to check that out and pull it in, then that
should help Geoffrey.
