[Yt-dev] Covering Grids

Hi all,

Do any of you use covering grids (directly) to generate covering grids
that are misaligned with the cell boundaries?

I am considering writing a new routine to replace the existing one
that will work only with integer math; this should not only speed
things up, but simplify them substantially.  Likely it would also
simplify the smoothing routines.  I would send an email to yt-users
first, however.
